San Diego Through the Lens project
The San Diego Through the Lens project was a project where we had to create and display a documentary of a certain community of San Diego. I worked with Jennifer and Brandon on Mission Beach. We had to visit Mission Beach and take pictures and interview locals to create a documentary of the community. The Movie had five sections: 1) Introduction, 2) History, 3) Changes over time, 4) Community today, and 5) Conclusion. We also made a calendar using the pictures we took with our Pinhole cameras.
As for my individual contribution, I worked on the actual movie itself the most, because apparently I was the only one in our group who knew how to work iMovie, or just the Mac in general. I also went back to Mission Beach a lot to take pictures and film interviews. I also took the pictures for the calendar.
While doing this project, I learned more about Mission beach and its history. I also got to explore around so that was cool too. I enjoyed being able to go to the beach and the bay lot during this project. I enjoyed making the movie and getting the pictures for it too. Something i would to differently next time is I would work harder and stay more on task as to finish the project when its due. Also I learned that some people don't make good project partners.

Artist Statement
I chose the size of the frame to include from the top of my head to about my knees because that portion makes the most sense to show. I chose to have mine slightly blurry and also a double-exposure because I feel like its not outside details that matter it’s what’s on the inside.. I’m not wearing any jewelry because I don’t ever wear any. I didn’t do much of a pose or anything because I didn’t want to make it complicated or anything.
math:
line AB is parallel to line EF, line CD in perpendicular to lines AB and EF. line AF is congruent to line BE. angle ACD is equal to angle BCD. angle BEF is equal to angle AFE. therefore, triangle ABZ is congruent to triangle EFZ. I had to make the stand 33 inches tall so the picture included all that I wanted it too.
